- Process vendor accounts payables.
- Process company accounts payables, and responsible for reconciliations.
- Process employee expense reports.
- Process daily bank deposits and transactions for both Operating and Trust Accounts.
- Manage account receivables in conjunction with account manager/exectutive.
- Process NSF checks and maintain all records pertaining to NSF checks.
- Reconcile and record direct bill commissions.
- Responsible for Sales and Use Tax record keeping and filings.
- Complete special projects as assigned.
- General knowledge of insurance preferred.
- Extremely detail oriented.
- Data entry accuracy essential.
- High level of initiative and able to work well in a team environment.
- Motivated, goal-oriented, persistent and skilled negotiator.
- Strong technical capacity with knowledge of Microsoft Office software products.
- Handles stressful situations and deadline pressures well.

- Plans and executes responsibilities independently and with discretion.
- An Associates Degree with 2 – 3 years of experience OR 3 – 5 years of experience
- Experience with Microsoft Office products including, Excel, Outlook, Word
- Training or experience in computer applications.

Reports to: Controller
Accounting Specialist provides a high professional standard of service within our Clark Insurance accounting department. This position will handle a variety of accounting functions in support of our Controller and our Accounting Department.
