    Are you an accounting professional with a knack for details and a passion for the Non-Profit industry? We are on the hunt for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our dynamic team.

    In this role, you will be responsible for the management of all aspects of accounts payable, including invoice processing, payment processing, and account reconciliation.

    You will be working closely with the finance team and other departments to ensure accuracy and efficiency in our financial operations.

    This is a fantastic opportunity to bring your expertise to a thriving Non-Profit industry leader and contribute to our mission of providing top-notch services for the community.

    As our Accounts Payable Specialist, you will:
    Oversee the accounts payable process, ensuring that all invoices are accurately coded, matched, and processed in a timely manner.
    Conduct regular account reconciliations, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.

    Assist in the development and implementation of new procedures and processes to enhance the productivity and efficiency of the accounts payable function.

    Comply with all financial policies and procedures, as well as legal requirements.
    A minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounts payable role, preferably in the Non-Profit industry.
    Proficiency in coding and matching invoices, preparing journal entries, performing check runs, and conducting account reconciliations.
    Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
    Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with staff at all levels.
    A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
