    Summary

    You will serve as an Intelligence Specialist performing duties as a Cyber Intelligence Analyst at the Marine Corps Cyberspace Warfare Group (MCCYWG).

    All Defense Intelligence positions under the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS) are in the excepted service by specific statute, 10 U.S.C This position is in the excepted service and does not confer competitive status.

    Duties
    • You will plan and carry out all assignments necessary to process all-source material and produce pertinent intelligence in his/her assigned area to meet U.S. government needs.
    • You will identify intelligence gaps, specify collection requirements to fill gaps, and evaluate the intelligence collected in response to those requirements.
    • You will collect, analyze, interpret, evaluate and integrate data from multiple sources in assessing the relevance and significance of developments in his/her assigned area.
    • You will maintain liaison with personnel in assigned and related fields, such as those in other intelligence agencies and allied foreign governments, to discuss mutual intelligence problems and production efforts.
    • You will review intelligence products prepared by other government agencies or other elements of his/her assigned activity for technical accuracy and logical treatment and interpretation of information.

    Qualifications

    Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GG/GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:

    1. Utilize signals intelligence (SIGINT), open-source research, and other data from digital networks to build target knowledge and produce technical reports;
    2. Reconstruct computer networks by creating and interpreting computer network maps or mission-essential information;
    3. Extract data and provide intelligence gained from target development to relevant parties, and collaborate with and provide information/recommendation to planners so that they can accomplish their daily duties.
