Duties:


  • Serve as a technical expert on joint target intelligence and joint targeting processes.
  • Coordinate and tracks complex tasking'sestimate level of effort required, monitor progress, develop and build metrics, track stakeholder satisfaction, and ensure quality assurance and technical accuracy standards are established.
  • Present joint target intelligence related to complex target systems and threat capabilities within defined areas of responsibility to a diverse audience of DOD, national, and coalition mission partner.
  • Serves as a functional authority on USCYBERCOM joint target intelligence functions.

  • Polygraph: Incumbent is required to undergo a counterintelligencescope polygraph examination.
  • The employee may be required to travel in military and/or commercial aircraft to perform temporary duty assignments.
  • An advanced intelligence or cyber related professional/scientific degree is desired.
  • Previous work experience in cyber and/or intelligence operations is highly desired.
  • Position is highly technical and requires incumbent to complete training requirements and maintain job qualification as identified by USCYBERCOMAND according to their work role.

Qualifications:


  • This is a GG13 position in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). The GG13 duties for the "Professional" work category are at the "Full Performance" work level and are equivalent to those at the GS13 level. The selectee's salary will be set within the grade equivalent to a GS/GG grade based on the selectee's qualifications in relation to the job.
  • In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management Positions.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:

  • 1. Knowledge of a wide range of intelligence disciplines, processing, and exploitation techniques, as well as dissemination methods of multi-source intelligence information that directly or indirectly affects national security.
  • 3. Knowledge of the national intelligence community, Joint, and DoD structure, organizations, mission/functions, interrelationships, and operations. Comprehensive knowledge of the USCYBERCOM target AOR is desired.
  • 4. Skill in conducting unbiased and difficult researchsometimes of a technical natureto produce intelligence assessments that answer specific information gaps or to develop new methods, approaches, or procedures.
  • 5. Ability to communicate effectively with others, both written and orally, that includes presentations to senior level audiences for decisionmaking purposes, as well as in working out solutions to problems or questions through clear and concise intelligence products

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT CONTINUED:


Position is designated
special-sensitive and requires eligibility for access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), other intelligence-related Special Sensitive information, or involvement in Top Secret Special Access Programs (SAP) to fully perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.

A non-disclosure agreement must be signed.

Drug Testing:This position has been designated by the Air Force as a Testing Designated Position (TDP) under the Air Force Civilian Drug Demand Reduction Program. Employee must pass initial and periodic short notice drug testing. Illegal drug use by employees in sensitive positions presents a clear threat to the mission of the Air Force, national security, and public safety.
