Description

Duties:


  • Conducts threat financial intelligence research and allsource analysis of data to provide threat financial intelligence products, assessments on threat financiers, facilitators, financial operations, and networks associated with counterintelligence.
  • Serves as a General Military Intelligence Analyst in the U.S. Army Counterintelligence Command, Directorate of Intelligence, Regional Support Division, Threat Finance Analytic Cell, for threats to Army Automated Information Systems.
  • Stays informed of military, politicalmilitary, technical, and other developments within assigned areas to conduct valid threat assessments.
  • Plans, coordinates, and synthesizes research from other analysts to prepare allsource intelligence products and responses.

Conditions of Employment:


  • Two year trial/probationary period may be required.
  • In accordance with Change 3 to AR 60085, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program, individual must successfully pass a urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodically thereafter.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance based on a T5 (or equivalent level) investigation with eligibility for sensitive compartmented information (SCI).
  • Temporary Duty (TDY) travel in conjunction with training and duties will up to 30% of the time.
  • Must be willing to undergo and successfully complete a counterintelligence scope polygraph examination on a preappointment and periodic basis.

  • In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience.
  • To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as experience Conducting research and analysis directly related to two or more of the followings, counter threat finance, financial intelligence, counterintelligence, cyber intelligence, threat analysis. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GG/GS12).
  • You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:
  • All-Source Intelligence Analysis
  • General Military Intelligence (GMI) Analysis
  • Intelligence and Threat Support (I&TS)

This job does not have an education qualification requirement.
