Duties:


  • You will develop networks, build alliances, and collaborate across boundaries to build strategic relationships and achieve common goals.
  • You will use advanced verbal and written communication techniques to prepare and present briefings on assigned area for senior executives.
  • You will identify a need for and know where or how to gather information, as well as being able to obtain, evaluate, organize, and maintain information.
  • You will plan and carry out all assignments necessary to process allsource material and produce pertinent intelligence in your assigned area to meet organization needs.

  • You must obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance and access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). Failure to do so may result in the withdrawal of an offer or removal. Indicate the level and date of your clearance in your resume.
  • You must acknowledge in writing that you are accepting an appointment in the DCIPS (excepted service) which does not confer competitive status, prior to appointment.

  • This position is designated as a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce position. You must obtain and maintain the credentials as described in SECNAV M for specialty area 111 level 02 within 12 months of appointment.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • This position may require a 2year DCIPS trial period requirement.

Qualifications:


  • Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS/GG11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector such as:

  • 1. Analyze and evaluate complex information from a variety of sources in preparation for defense against potential cyber intrusions;

2. Prepare new or revise previous analyses, assessments, or other top level cyber intelligence products to present to senior leadership;

3. Maintain liaison with other intelligence agencies and operational forces and represent the command at local, national, and international working groups and meetings.-

**_This position has been designated as a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce position in specialty area [111] and as a condition of employment incumbents of the position are required to comply with the DON Cyber IT/CSWF Program requirements of SECNAV M-5239.
