- Perform financial management duties including generating financial data, compiling, and submitting reports, analyzing industry trends, and assessing the financial health of the company.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with tax and financial reporting standards.
- Assist with cash flow forecasting.
- Collaborate with Controller on decisions related to the company's finances.
- Assist with the creation of company financial status and forecasts documentation.
- Manage customer and vendor relationships.
- Collaborate with the Controller on bank management.
- Assisting with HR tasks when needed - manage payroll processing, and benefits processes, Federal/State filings, and 401k administration.
- Assist with business insurance management.
- Contract review - sign off and review as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field, OR relevant experience
- CPA preferred but not required.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in accounting or finance roles
- High proficiency in cost accounting
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience working with ERP systems, comfortable in manufacturing setting.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

Summary:
We are looking for a Accountant with a strong background in cost accounting and financial management, preferably with 2 years of experience in a similar role. The ideal candidate will have advanced Excel proficiency and experience working with ERP systems, particularly in a manufacturing environment. The Accountant will be responsible for overseeing various finance department operations, including AP/AR, payroll, financial assistance, business insurance management, development, and training, and more.
