    Senior Director, Sales

    The Senior Director, Sales position drives the overall growth of sales within the Brother Mobile Solutions (BMS) group in North America. The role involves leading BMS End-User sales teams across Enterprise, Industrial Solutions, and Channel Sales, focusing on managing existing accounts, developing new business, and generating leads through Marketing and Sales efforts. Travel is required for this role (up to 50%).

    Sales Leadership and Diverse Team Management

    • Train, mentor, and coach the team to excel in consultative sales, showcasing Brother as experts in the Mobile, Desktop, and Industrial Solutions space
    • Lead the sales and channel function, driving business growth and motivating the team
    • Provide strategic insights to the BMS Leadership team to influence organizational direction
    • Create a culture of learning and development within the sales team
    • Conduct Business Reviews to support BMS's vision and goals
    • Build strong internal and external relationships to drive business strategies

    Sales & Channel Strategy Development & Execution

    • Innovate and streamline processes to enhance sales initiatives
    • Develop sales and channel strategies based on data and analytics
    • Maintain a healthy pipeline of opportunities and explore new business avenues
    • Collaborate with internal teams to support customer and partner strategies
    • Analyze sales data to set targets and adjust strategies accordingly
    • Stay updated on industry trends and competitors to drive effective strategies
    • Promote Brother programs and secure long-term contracts

    Executive Reporting, Budgeting, & Forecasting

    • Prepare reports for internal stakeholders and deliver presentations for meetings
    • Manage product forecasting and use software tools for reporting

    Qualifications

    Education

    • Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience) in Business, Marketing, or related field
    • Master's Degree (MBA) - Preferred

    Experience

    12+ years of experience with managing diverse sales teams, developing sales strategies, and achieving superior results. Prior experience in labeling solutions and AIDC equipment is a plus.

    Software/Technical Skills

    • Proficiency in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software, preferably Salesforce

    • Ability to navigate complex organizations and drive sales results
    • Strong communication, leadership, and negotiation skills
    • Expertise in sales management and strategic planning
    • Resilience and creativity in crafting growth strategies

    This role offers a hybrid work arrangement, allowing remote work up to two days per week based on business needs. Office days will be determined by managers.

    • The salary range for this position is $190,000 - $220,000 per year
    • Starting salary will be based on qualifications and market data alignment
    • Bonus awards are discretionary based on individual and company performance
