    Description

    Business Development Specialist:

    Tanya Creations is a fashion jewelry and hair accessories design, sales and distribution Company serving the private label needs of the retail Industry. The Company creates unique, fashion-forward jewelry that reflects the trends and styles on the horizon for popular retailers.

    Tanya Creations is seeking an experienced, ambitious, and highly motivated Business Development Specialist to join its fashion costume jewelry sales team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the success of all sales and marketing strategies for their account base. This candidate will be knowledgeable about the market and the Company's competitive advantages to best recommend new sales strategies for success. Experience in selling fashion accessories to national retailers is required.

    Responsibilities

    • Pursue identified business prospects, actively in the planning and sales process for new business opportunities
    • Foster new business relationships and grow existing relationships
    • Plan and execute sales presentations and proposals for buyers
    • Planning seasonal business by category, writing orders, analyzing results with action plan
    • Accurately forecasting product needs
    • Provide outstanding customer service
    • Develop and execute strategic plan to achieve sales targets
    • Understand category-specific landscapes and trends.

    Requirements

    • 5+ years' relevant experience handling sales for national retail and E-Commerce accounts
    • Strong sales hunter / business developer with existing connections in the Jewelry department of national retailers would be appreciated
    • Profit driven but with quality to maintain brand image
    • Strong experience of the US domestic market
    • Strong financial and planning skills
    • IT literate
    • Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization
    • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
    • Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services
    • Proven ability to position products against competitors
    • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
    • Solid analytical skills when processing varied data from different sources
    • The Position is located in Cranston, Rhode Island however an option for the position to be filled in Secaucus, New Jersey may exist.
