    Overview:

    Nelson Mullins seeks an experience Human Resources Assistant to join the Columbia, SC team in providing support to our more than 2,000 employees across 32 offices.

    A Day in the Life:

    The Human Resource Assistant is responsible for performing HR- related duties on a professional level and will work closely with multiple departments within the firm. This position carries out responsibilities in that include onboarding, reporting and compliance, benefits administration and employee relations. The HR assistant will be responsible for onboarding new employees, responding to employment verification request, creating new employee profiles, and managing employee status changes. This position will utilize Dayforce, netDocs, and Microsoft Office.

    We Know You:

    The idea candidate will have a minimum of five years of Human Resource administration experience. Experience working in a law firm environment is preferred. This position will requires someone who has exceptional Microsoft office experience with a heavy focus on excel. Excel certification is highly preferred.
