Job Summary:

The Branch Manager will provide leadership to an assigned Branch within an assigned territory.

The Branch Manager will also provide support to outside sales through the development and implementation of coordinated strategies to grow market share within the territory and drive operational and service excellence.

What you will be doing:

Communicate staffing needs to Territory Management team to ensure branch sales goals and objectives are met. Participate in interviewing, hiring and training of new employees.
Partner with Territory Management team and Human Resources to conduct timely and constructive performance reviews.
Provide training and retraining of branch sales and operational processes. Communicate process changes to branch employees and update Activity Management process documents (work instructions, and operating instructions).

Determine customer requirements and expectations in order to recommend specific products and solutions while increasing sales and average order size by means of stocking plan, cross-selling, up-selling, and add-on sales.

Generate new and repeat sales by providing product and technical information to customers both in person and over the phone.

Keep inventory levels in line with corporate objectives while ensuring adequate stock for customers.
Perform responsibilities and functions per QMS and selling policies, processes and guidelines.
Ensure safety procedures per QMS for products and equipment are followed to provide safe environment for staff and customers.
Ensure security of branch per QMS, product, equipment, and funds at all times.
Ensure compliance of company policies and QMS procedures.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Bachelor's degree in Business or related field preferred.
Prior experience developing and leading teams in a retail

sales oriented

environment.
4 years of experience in wholesale distribution and field sales experience preferred.
Proficient working knowledge of ERP system (Gartman) IBM.
Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of standing, bending, lifting and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
May travel to other branch locations to support training and/or support staffing needs.
