- Professionally manage/supervise any and all incidents, preparing daily status reports, delegating resources, resolving conflict, leveraging support systems as needed.
- Document investigations of process deviations, variances, and accidents.
- Interaction with various support groups in and outside of the manufacturing branch of AFC-Rancho Cordova.
- Address technical problems related to chemical processes.
- Work with outside emergency responders and other service providers as needed.
- 8-12 hour shifts will be expected with night, weekend, and holiday coverage.
- Keeping management informed of all activities will be required.
- Typically requires 3-5 years of experience in the related area as an individual contributor and bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Prefer a bachelor's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or BS in Chemistry.
- Preferred previous supervisory experience.
- Preferred familiarity with organized labor.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Must be able to work in chemical manufacturing plant.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft office suite and standard office equipment.
- A combination of working in the plant facilities and in an office setting
- 12 hour shifts, including either day shift or grave shift
- Ability to wear proper PPE including full face respirators for short periods of time

Our integrated facilities located in California, Texas, and Virginia specialize in process development, scale-up, and cGMP compliant production from kilograms to multi-ton quantities.We are looking for Operation Supervisors to join our team in Rancho Cordova, CA (greater Sacramento area). We are a 24/7/365 manufacturing facility, so this position will be off-shift.
