    the Cooks and prepares food for
    distribution to patients, the cafeteria, and catering services

    Responsible for lifting and carrying medium to heavy food and equipment.
    Plans cooking schedule with supervisor and/or dietitian to ensure food will be ready at
    Reviews menu and special orders to determine types and quantities of food items to be

    ~ Education:
    High school Graduate or 1-year equivalent experience with commercial production food service.

    • Must know how to read, write, and speak English.
    • Licensure / Certification: Food handlers' certification within 6 months of hire
    • Experience: Relevant work experience in a hospital setting, large institution or Commercial kitchen preferred
    • Knowledge of food preparation by recipe preferred
    • Ability to complete assignments under direct supervision.
