    MOJO is seeking an aspiring sales professional who is motivated, resourceful, and a team player.

    MOJO's Business Development Representative will be responsible for helping build our sales pipeline by generating high-quality leads for our team of Account Executives.

    The ideal candidate is has an infectiously positive attitude with a desire to learn new skills, processes, and tools. He or she welcomes a fast-paced and high-growth environment where everyone's contributions make a difference.

    MOJO is on a mission to transform youth sports and build the world's most beloved and family-friendly sports platform and brand.

    Though we are still a young company, our mobile app has been named the best app in all of sports and we were recently named as one of Fast Company's Brands That Matter, alongside Nike and the NBA.

    Responsibilities

    Clearly and effectively articulate MOJO's mission and value proposition to prospective youth sports clubs and leagues.

    Help qualify potential clients for our AEs by gathering information about their sports programming, leadership, seasonality, and current challenges and goals.

    Generate consistent, high-quality leads by making 50+ outbound calls per day to youth sports leaders.

    Collaborate with AEs and leadership on territory development, messaging strategies, and calling campaigns to drive new business opportunities for the company.

    Participate in prospect research efforts and email marketing campaigns to support your team's sales pipeline.
    Assist AEs with client proposals and associated deadlines as needed.
    Gather prospect feedback to further inform product and content roadmaps for the company.
    Contribute to broader growth strategy and execution as part of our new business and partnerships team.
    Experience and Skills

    Some cold calling or inside sales experience is preferred, but we will train the right candidate and help grow their career
    Experience using a CRM like Hubspot or Salesforce is strongly preferred
    Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a passion for connecting with diverse audiences
    Highly organized with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment and manage high volume of opportunities
    Tireless work ethic and hunter mentality required to be successful in role
    Unwavering integrity and commitment to always being an exemplary representative of our brand and our mission
    Passion for and knowledge of sports a plus

    The ideal candidate is coachable, unfailingly positive, and has a desire to make a difference and grow their career in a fast-paced environment.

    Great communication, strong attention to detail, and the ability to reliably manage multiple projects are all essential. Living in the Los Angeles area is a requirement for this position. Remote candidates will not be considered.
