Job Description:
Pennington Biomedical Research Center, a world-renowned academic research institute of Louisiana State University, is seeking a Data Analyst in the Institute of Dementia Research and Prevention Laboratory.
Assisting with data clean up, database organization, and data analysis.
Assist with creation of graphs, figures, tables.
Assist with some limited programming and development as related to SBIR grant applications.
Assist with organizing, proofing, and references as related to creation of manuscripts.
Working with collaborators in industry and academia to help organize meetings, summaries, and follow up as related to SBIR grant applications.
Assisting with statistical analyses.Serves as a liaison and/or contact person of the IDRP between and amongst other PBRC entities, study participants and study coordinators.
Assists in preparation of IDRP documents as directed by the Manager and/or director of IDRP.Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree.
Strong background and skills with excel and related database and data analysis software.
Some programming and development skills.
Accuracy and meticulous attention to detail.
Excellent organizational skills, ability to multi-task, and the ability to interact professionally with diverse populations.
