Description
The Data Analyst will develop, implement, and refine analytical models, leverage data insights to inform and optimize 1803's operations across all areas of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
Serves as the Subject Matter Expert for all data collection, data storage solutions, and large dataset analysis for the cooperative.
Collect, store, process, and provide in depth analysis on large datasets to identify patterns, trends, and insights to drive business decisions effectively and efficiently.
Data will range across a wide array of items including but not limited to load data, weather data, solar, wind, thermal generation resources, equipment sensor, market pricing, and market settlements.
Stay up to date with the latest advances in data science and implement innovative solutions on behalf of 1803.Design and maintain models and data visualization tools to communicate data insights to stakeholders.
Interpret, organize, and present data analyses results into summary reports, figures, charts, and other briefing materials for senior leadership to guide strategy and consideration of business options.
Continuously improve existing models and develop new models using latest technology such as machine learning and other advanced analytical techniques as applicable.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, data analysis, management information systems, statistics, or related disciplines.
Minimum of one year of experience with data analysis, data storage, modeling, or related areas is preferred, but not required.
Must hold a valid driver'slicense.Physical Demands and Work Environment:
