    Description

    Details:

    We are seeking a SQL Server Database Developer for a 7 month assignment with extension possible working on our W2 remotely from anywhere in Texas.

    We are unable to work with C2Cs.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities


    • Develop high-quality database solutions.
    • Knowledge of relational databases, data systems and data warehouses.
    • Experience in writing Stored Procedures, T-SQL, and query tuning on high transaction systems.
    • Experience in maintaining database indexes, columns and tables using DDL, DML and DCL constructs.
    • Experience in using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and ETL (Extract-Transform-Load).
    • Experience data access drivers and JDBC/ODBC configuration.
    • Ability to communicate effectively with others at all levels of the organization.
    • Build appropriate and useful reporting deliverables.
    • Analyze existing SQL queries for performance improvements.
    • Develop procedures and scripts for data migration.
    • Review and interpret ongoing business report requirements.

    • 4- 7 yrs Experience in SQL Server database development including stored procedures, table, column, and index creation.
    • Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major course work in computer science, computer information systems, management information systems, or a related field is generally preferred.
    • Education and experience may be substituted for one another.
