Job Description
A large Commercial Security client is seeking a Level 2 System Designer to join their Pre-Sales team. This team creates custom large scale solutions for high end clients. The system Designer is a key technical resource for both sales and operations teams.

This person will be responsible for actively driving and managing the evaluation and validation of systems and materials, working in conjunction with the sales and operations teams as the key technical advisor, and must be able to articulate technology and product positioning.

Additional responsibilities include the design of intrusion, security, CCTV, and card access systems in accordance with sales and operations protocols.

This individual will choose or validate an appropriate mix of products and installation methods to provide the most cost-effective solution to meet the customer requirements.

This person will work remotely, with potential for light travel occasionally.

Skills and Requirements

Associates or Bachelor's Degree
3+ years of industry experience in system design
Working experience with low voltage communication systems
Strong understanding and experience with MS Excel, Outlook and MS Word
Ability to read schematic and/or construction plans is preferred

Ability to read architectural, mechanical and electrical blueprints and have a solid understanding of basic electrical and mechanical control systems

Experience working with PDF markup tools; Bluebeam preferred
