    We are hiring for the following remote position:
    Business Development Representative - Remote

    Preferred East Coast Region

    Salary Base + Commission Incentive Plan

    As the Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for

    increasing product awareness, educating clients and attaining the goals of the client's needs through customer interactions.

    The Business Development Representative is charged with relationship development and promotional efforts with U.S. and Global customers and

    accounts.

    Key Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

    Engage with clients to compliantly grow the business and drive product demand by proactively providing information and resources to achieve business objectives and meet client needs

    Effectively builds rapport with clients; develops a methodical approach toward calls (e.g., clear next steps and appropriate documentation, managing to company goals)

    Adapts approach based upon opportunities and insights

    Addresses and identifies opportunities through existing clients and organic leads

    Provides leadership and guidance to project teams regarding the application of strategies and translational data in client projects

    Contributes to the development and execution of customer account plans for target accounts to deliver maximum impact opportunities and business goals

    Prepares, reviews and edits presentations as needed for sales activities, leadership presentations and annual retreats

    Keeps abreast of customer and healthcare industry trends. Initiates development actions to constantly adapt and grow capabilities to increase impact with clients;

    Builds and demonstrates a mastery and utilization of all tools and resources; effectively uses calendaring tools, leadership goals, and personal insights to address client priorities

    The Qualified Candidate Must Have:
    Bachelor's Degree (BS or BA) from an accredited college/university in Business, Computer Science, Biology, Chemistry, Bioinformatics, or a related field; with 1-3 years in a sales/business development role in the Life Sciences industry

    Goal-oriented individual with a strong desire to be in promotional role; have core skills of customer service orientation, initiative, planning and follow up, work management, and judgment/problem solving

    Demonstrates change agility; accountability; takes/seeks feedback; the ability to be connected to others; remote collaboration with cross-functional internal teams

    Marketplace and business acumen, stakeholder management; and understanding the business priorities

    Excellent organizational skills and an ability to prioritize effectively to deliver results within reasonable established timelines

    Excellent communication skills, oral and written, ability to communicate effectively with all levels of scientists, management and clients
