    We are hiring for the following remote position:
    Business Development Representative
    • RemotePreferred East Coast RegionSalary Base + Commission Incentive PlanAs the Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for increasing product awareness, educating clients and attaining the goals of the client's needs through customer interactions.
    The Business Development Representative is charged with relationship development and promotional efforts with U.S. and Global customers and accounts.

    Key Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

    Engage with clients to compliantly grow the business and drive product demand by proactively providing information and resources to achieve business objectives and meet client needsEffectively builds rapport with clients; develops a methodical approach toward calls (e.g., clear next steps and appropriate documentation, managing to company goals)Adapts approach based upon opportunities and insightsAddresses and identifies opportunities through existing clients and organic leadsProvides leadership and guidance to project teams regarding the application of strategies and translational data in client projectsContributes to the development and execution of customer account plans for target accounts to deliver maximum impact opportunities and business goalsPrepares, reviews and edits presentations as needed for sales activities, leadership presentations and annual retreatsKeeps abreast of customer and healthcare industry trends.

    Initiates development actions to constantly adapt and grow capabilities to increase impact with clients;Builds and demonstrates a mastery and utilization of all tools and resources; effectively uses calendaring tools, leadership goals, and personal insights to address client prioritiesThe Qualified Candidate Must Have:

    Bachelor's Degree (BS or BA) from an accredited college/university in Business, Computer Science, Biology, Chemistry, Bioinformatics, or a related field; with 1-3 years in a sales/business development role in the Life Sciences industry Goal-oriented individual with a strong desire to be in promotional role; have core skills of customer service orientation, initiative, planning and follow up, work management, and judgment/problem solvingDemonstrates change agility; accountability; takes/seeks feedback; the ability to be connected to others; remote collaboration with cross-functional internal teamsMarketplace and business acumen, stakeholder management; and understanding the business prioritiesExcellent organizational skills and an ability to prioritize effectively to deliver results within reasonable established timelinesExcellent communication skills, oral and written, ability to communicate effectively with all levels of scientists, management and clientsRancho BioSciences offers competitive salary and benefits package.

    This position includes a commission incentive plan.
