    Description

    n/naka, a California inspired modern kaiseki restaurant led by Chef Niki Nakayama, is currently seeking qualified line cooks and sous chefs to join our team. We are searching for committed, detail oriented junior sous chef with Michelin starred kitchen experience to join our team. This role will primarily work am prep shift and must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.

    Ideal candidates will have at least 3 years of kitchen experience in a Michelin starred restaurant, or high-end Japanese restaurant. Japanese culinary experience and fish butchery skills is a big plus. You must possess a very strong work ethic, high attention to detail, and a positive attitude.

    Skills and Requirements:

    • Minimum 3 years kitchen experience

    • Ability to work cleanly and efficiently
    • Works with a sense of urgency and has excellent time management skill
    • Sense of responsibily towards guests and other team members

    • We are open for regular dinner service Wed through Sat; Prep only, no service on Tue.
