    About the Position:

    The Golden State Warriors is searching for a Corporate Communications Manager to take on a key role in creating and executing new strategies to enhance business operations and boost external media endeavors. Join this team as you leverage your expertise in media relations to bolster communication efforts. This position will report to the Director of Corporate Communications. Be part of a dynamic sports and entertainment organization in San Francisco, CA that appreciates your drive and commitment to success. This is a full-time position based onsite in San Francisco, CA.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Contribute actively to the development of the Warriors' business communication objectives by concentrating on enhancing publicity for non-basketball projects and events, working closely with corporate partners, community relations, marketing, event programming, and other associated ventures
    • Support various business initiatives within the company's revenue-generating sectors through PR campaigns and launch events
    • Compose and produce relevant media materials such as key messages, statements, media kits, press releases, and other necessary documents
    • Create, execute, and monitor public relations strategies across all business functions
    • Establish and cultivate positive relationships with newspaper editors, business journalists, news producers, radio personalities, and news reporters both locally and globally
    • Act as a liaison between the organization and team alumni and legends
    • Provide media support during special events and public appearances
    • Supervise two employees (Coordinator and Assistant)
    • Undertake other assigned duties

    Required Experience & Skills:

    • Bachelor's degree in Public Relations/Communications/Journalism, or relevant work experience
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in public or media relations within the sports, business, and news media sectors in the Bay Area and nationally
    • Knowledge of sports and entertainment public relations practices is highly desirable
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to collaborate, influence, and foster positive relationships with clients and colleagues at all levels
    • Efficient multitasking and project prioritization skills

    Time Commitment:

    • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

    Compensation:

    • $89,000 + Bonus
