Job Title: Data Warehouse Architect

Department: IT Business Intelligence & DW

FLSA Status: Exempt

Reports to: BI & DW Manager

Full/Part Time Status: Full

Work Location: Gardena, CA

**Education/Experience Requirements**

Minimum Education Level: Bachelors Degree

Minimum Years of Experience: 5+

**Responsibilities & Duties**

Develops database architectural strategies at the modeling, design and implementation stages to address Enterprise requirements.

Develops database design and architecture documentation for the management and executive teams.

Manages change control, problem management and communication among ETL developers.

Promotes Data Standards, Data Quality and Business Intelligence programs.

Establish and enforce processes to ensure a consistent, well managed and integrated data warehouse ETL infrastructure and tool set.

Lead team to build custom data-driven frameworks and solutions, and leverage off-the-shelf data products and tools.

Document implementation of data policies and procedures

Maintains a high degree of business functional knowledge and current automated technologies and tools.

Adheres to all policies and procedures concerning all confidential information including but not limited to internal use and restricted information.

**Job Qualifications/Requirements**

Requires a College degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or an equivalent field and 8+ years experience with design/architecting, developing and implementing data warehouse solutions.

Experience in the banking/finance industry a plus.

Advanced knowledge of data/ETL architecture patterns and ability to create interim architectures to provide tactical and strategic architectures towards data solutions.

Experience with enterprise level relational database like Oracle, DB2, MySQL, MS-SQL, PostgeSQL etc.

Expert knowledge in SQL and database procedural languages, relational and dimensional database design concepts. Ability to identify and solve problems. Excellent management and organizational skills.

Ability to set goals and ensures the team meets high quality work standards.

Working knowledge of full life cycle of applications development and support.

Working experience with SQL Server 2008/2012/2014.

Solid Experience with ETL tools like Informatica, SSIS.

Ability to communicate and translate technical strategy to non-technical business leaders and senior management.

Experience in managing project timelines and prioritize work.

Ability to interface effectively with all levels of management, which include business and technical teams.

Experience with tools like JIRA, ServiceNow.
