    Data Warehouse Architect

    Responsibilities:

    • Lead analysis, architecture, design, and development of Snowflake Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence solutions
    • Work with customers to understand and execute their requirements
    • Build Data Flows mapping Source systems and Process flows
    • Build Data Warehouse Architecture including Data Ingestion, Transformation, Security and Aggregate layers
    • Build denormalized Data Model with Dimensional modeling to meet customer analytics and performance criteria
    • Build an optimal data pipeline approach to extract data from Mainframe systems to Snowflake
    • Experience designing highly scalable ETL processes with complex data transformations, data formats including error handling and monitoring.
    • Give coaching and guidance to team members and data analysts across the organization.

    The Essentials:

    • 3+ years of experience in building Snowflake Data Warehouse solutions from scratch
    • 10+ years of experience designing and consuming enterprise data warehouses that can scale.
    • Deep experience in traditional Data Warehousing & Cloud data warehousing
    • Excellent ability to establish and maintain collaborative relationships with analytic and non-analytic business partners, including executive leadership, in order to elicit business needs and formulate, propose and refine analytic solutions in order to meet the business needs and to drive efficiency and effectiveness improvements and business value.
    • Mastery of Dimensional Model, Snowflake architecture, and proficiency with SnowSQL
    • Experience in delivering ELT solutions using tools like Matillion or Fivetran
    • Understanding of the competitive ETL space in cloud data warehousing
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong understanding of business KPIs and Go to Market Engines.
    • Understanding of reporting systems such as Tableau.
    • Ability to dig into the data using systems such as Snowflake especially for the Retail and Banking industry.
