    OVERVIEW: The position of Business Development Manager, Direct Sales at Newcoast is responsible for overseeing the processing of all incoming leads and monitoring, reporting, and improving Hubspot utilization and follow up compliance. This position will drive new business by responding to requests from potential customers that access Newcoast through our online finance applications as well as dealer, manufacturer, and partner direct relationships

    KEY TASKS:

    • Achieve customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives.
    • Cultivate relationships with prospects and customers to create customer satisfaction and repeat business.
    • Maintain production pipeline records in CRM systems.
      • Track and maintain intelligence on all leads.
      • Track and maintain all activities related to prospecting and deals in progress.
      • Utilize dashboards and reporting to provide progress metrics to sales leadership.
      • Participation in campaigns via CRM provided by the marketing team.
    • Constantly update job knowledge through sales development training.
    • Enhance frequency of communication with Contacts.
    • Provide contacts with valuable content to nurture and improve their desire to purchase products from our company.
    • Fill the communication time voids between sales communications to keep our products and company at the top of Contact's consideration set when they are ready to reengage
    KEY RESULT AREAS:
    • Meets individual business growth goals and new business targets.
    • Meets cross-selling goals.
    • Ensures that all Finance and work products delivered to prospects and customers meet the high-quality standards of Newcoast.
    • Provide regular reporting and communication of metrics to demonstrate success of production pipeline activities, individual growth goals and overall performance.
    • Demonstrate continued personal improvement via growth of skillsets in sales methodology, and general marine and RV industry knowledge.
    • Identify areas of optimization and opportunities as well as provide informed recommendations for the finance divisions and Newcoast leadership.
    • Effective working relationships developed with other production team members and service teams, and stakeholders.
    • Demonstrate alignment between product, underwriting and operations divisions via clear communication and a seamless handoff from prospect to customer.
    • Demonstrate improved alignment and processes between lead management and marketing automation solutions that lead to improved customer intelligence and a more seamless customer experience.
    SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:
    • One year or more experience in sales or business development roles.
    • Demonstrated ability to work in remote-working environments.
    • Experience and understanding of CRM systems and commonly used sales tools.
    • Proactive, organized, results driven, meets deadlines, self-driven, collaborative.
    • This person must have strong written and verbal communication skills, the ability to influence others and strong cross-functional leadership.
    • This person is charismatic, friendly, and upbeat with ability to build rapport with clients quickly.
    • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
    • Understanding and aptitude with modern computer technology, Zoom and other software tools.
