Arcas Technology is partnered with a leading Manufacturing company based in Kent who are currently looking for an experienced Lead IT Support Engineer to join their business on a permanent basis.

They are seeking a dynamic individual to oversee their Support Service operations, ensuring efficient resolution of issues and requests within established Service Level Agreements.

The role involves close collaboration with the Managed Service Provider, external stakeholders (including customers), and internal on-site resources across three locations.

Key Responsibilities:

Act as the primary escalation point for internal IT Support Engineers across all sites, ensuring the consistent delivery of a customer-focused service.

Solve problems whenever feasible or escalate and collaborate with third parties until resolution. Keep business users informed and minimise open tickets on the service desk.

Proactively contribute to the development of services and procedures within a continuous improvement framework to exceed the expectations of both internal and external customers.

Monitor systems proactively, identifying and reporting issues to the business and IT Manager as required.
Maintain and update IT asset registers, reviewing and replacing hardware based on business needs and budget considerations.
Ensure the Active Directory remains up-to-date, aligned with current user-base and requirements. Optimise licensing to ensure cost-effectiveness.

Maintain and update the internal mobile phone holder list, aligning it with current business user-base and requirements, while maximising cost efficiency.

Assist in building a comprehensive Internal Knowledge base, documenting information thoroughly across all sites.
