    Job Description Salary:


    Welty provides professional construction management services, specializing in Lean Construction for clients in a variety of energy, healthcare, commercial, education, and hospitality markets nationwide.

    Welty has the distinction of creating some of the most prestigious community projects including the world-renowned Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company's new Global Headquarters, major renovations of the Pro Football of Fame, the FirstEnergy Transmission Control Center and is currently working on several Electric Utility Transmission and Distribution Projects in addition to many others.

    Role and Responsibilities:
    o As a Transmission Line Engineer, design high voltage transmission lines (34kV – 500kV).
    o As a Transmission Line Engineer, prepare construction plan documents as required per project.
    o As a Transmission Line Engineer, perform analysis/modeling of wood, steel, and lattice structures.

    o As a Transmission Line Engineer, you will be involved with consulting on select projects where your expertise and guidance is requested.

    o As a Transmission Line Engineer, provide technical assistance to the Welty Project Management Team as requested.


    Responsibilities:
    o Perform site visits when necessary.
    o Interface with client's engineering groups and project management team to provide regular and timely updates.
    o Consult on internal projects when requested by the PM, Portfolio Manager, or Executive Vice President.


    Expectations:
    o Adherence to Welty Core Values, OPTIC (Openness, Passion, Teamwork, Integrity, Customer Centricity).
    o Any need for meetings should be determined by the appropriate Project Engineering Lead and Executive Vice President.
    o Share knowledge and train oncoming Transmission Line Engineers.
    o Establish trust and healthy rapport with client and contract engineer firms.
    o Collaborate with Management Team to foster a productive and encouraging environment.
    o Timesheet entries and expenses to be appropriately applied to corresponding projects and should be submitted weekly.


    • Education/Experience:o Minimum
    § Bachelor's degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering at an ABET accredited university
    § 5+ years of experience as a Transmission Line Engineer
    § EIT Certification with the intention to pursue PE license
    o Preferred
    § PE License


    • Travel
    o 15-20% travel (project specific)
