    Overview:


    JCSI, a recruiting consulting company is partnering with AtkinsRealis to help them fill some key roles in their Albany NY, Binghamton NY, Rochester NY, Augusta ME and Orange CT locations.

    As a Transmission Line Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing and analyzing transmission line systems to ensure their reliability and effectiveness.

    Your work will directly impact the success of projects and contribute to the AtkinsRealis mission of delivering high-quality utility services.


    Key Responsibilities:
    Design and analyze transmission line systems to meet project requirements and industry standards
    Develop technical specifications and drawings for transmission line projects
    Perform calculations and simulations to ensure system reliability and optimal performance
    Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers and technicians, to ensure successful project execution
    Conduct site visits and inspections to assess the feasibility and efficiency of transmission line installations
    Provide technical support and guidance to clients and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle

    Required Qualifications:

    5+ years of transmission design engineering experience
    Experience in the power utility field
    Proficiency with PLS software suite; PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE and PLS-TOWER
    PE license a plus
    Experience with high and medium voltage
    Bachelor's degree in Engineering


    Location:
    Hybrid work opportunities available in Albany, NY, Binghamton, NY, Rochester, NY, Augusta, ME or Orange, CT


    Salary:
    $72,000 - $157,000- commensurate with experience
