Job Description

CAD/BIM Drafter:

1. Maintain updates to the Owner's Data Center operation infrastructure models resulting

from MARCUS and Data Center Operations facility changes.

2. Process and resolve model related Bugs (Owner Issue Tracking system) in line with the

Owner's prioritization system.

3. Develop and manage a system for tracking status of change as well as model

check-in/check-out to design firms and internal clients per Owner's overarching strategy

for managing record documentation.

4. Review model changes and updates from vendors for compliance with Google CAD/BIM

standards, and issuing acceptance and rejections with comments for correction by

vendors as needed.

5. Work with Google DCS teams to develop visibility, standards, tracking and a fluid system

for model/file/sheet acceptance.

6. YAWN model reviews inflight between IFC and FR and model reviews at final closeout

for model acceptance.

Document Control:

1. Lead Closeout meetings for small- and large-scale projects.

2. Formally review construction turnover documentation and route it to the appropriate staff

to perform a technical review.

3. Audit new and existing documentation for standards compliance and formatting. Typical

file formatting checks will include file format compliance, file naming compliance, etc.

4. Perform audit checks of document indexes against document uploads for completeness

and identifying missing files.

5. Audit document metadata for completeness, and apply metadata updates when needed

before upload.

6. Complete project setup tasks, including coordinating large document share requests.

7. Manage the Engineering Change Notice (ECN) process on site, to ensure documents

are processed through the proper change management process.

8. Prepare folder structures for upload to Google's document management system.

9. Follow established documentation processes and procedures, and provide guidance and

training to various stakeholders, both internally and externally. Suggest process

improvements for document control related topics.

10. Support other document control related duties as assigned by Google project manager.

11. Provide weekly reports on status of projects.

12. Support lessons learned program initiative, as directed by the Data Center Services

team.

13. Work will be performed under guidance from a Google point of contact to facilitate

support and regional guidance/direction.
