Description

We are currently seeking an experienced and proactive individual to join our team for our Controller role This role presents a unique opportunity for a seasoned financial professional to rebuild and reconfigure the position, shaping it into their own and providing strategic financial leadership within our organization.


US Citizenship is required for this role.

Position Overview:

As Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management, including financial reporting, budgeting, and regulatory compliance.

You will play a key role in establishing and implementing financial policies and procedures to ensure the integrity of our financial operations.

Additionally, you will provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior management to support informed decision-making.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Prepare comprehensive reports summarizing and forecasting company business activity and financial position, providing insights based on past, present, and expected operations.
  • Direct the preparation of budgets, review budget proposals, and prepare necessary supporting documentation and justification.
  • Provide timely reviews of the organization's financial status and progress in various programs and activities to senior management.
  • Advise senior management on operational adjustments and financial strategies in response to tax code revisions and regulatory changes.
  • Prepare reports required by regulatory agencies and ensure compliance with all financial regulations.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with banks and other financial institutions.
  • Coordinate with independent auditors in the annual audit of financial statements and provide necessary support and documentation.
  • Help manage migration to NetSuite.

Supervisory Responsibilities:


  • Oversee a team within the Finance Department and managing performance.
  • Implement effective leadership strategies to foster a collaborative and highperforming team environment.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and applicable laws related to human resources and personnel management.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree from a fouryear college or university.
  • 8 to 10 years of progressive experience in financial management and accounting.
  • CPA certification is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with NetSuite is strongly preferred.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in leading teams and driving strategic initiatives.
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fastpaced and dynamic environment.

Pay:
From $125,000.00 per year
