    Job Opportunity: Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI)
    We are looking for a committed TVI to join our team in Phoenix, AZ. This role involves providing specialized instruction and support to help a preschool student with visual impairments thrive in their education. Part-time and full-time positions are available.
    Responsibilities:
    • Deliver direct instruction based on the student's Individualized Education Plan (IEP).
    • Create educational strategies tailored to the student's needs.
    • Regularly assess the student's progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly.
    • Collaborate with parents, teachers, and service providers.
    • Offer guidance to teachers on accommodations and modifications.
    • Utilize tools and tech to enhance the student's learning experience.
    Requirements:
    • Teaching certificate with Visual Impairments endorsement or eligibility in Arizona.
    • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Education or related field.
    • Previous experience with visually impaired students.
    • Knowledge of Braille and specialized teaching techniques.
    • Ability to create effective educational plans.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    Work Environment:
    • Preschool setting with classroom and individual instruction.
