Description

We are currently seeking a skilled Temporary AP Specialist to support our finance department. The ideal candidate will have experience in accounts payable functions within the healthcare or hospital industry. This individual will be responsible for processing invoices, reconciling vendor accounts, and ensuring timely payments.

Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment are essential for success in this role.

This role will be fully onsite in Chicago, IL.

Responsibilities:
Process invoices accurately and efficiently

Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies

Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

Assist with month-end closing activities

Collaborate with internal teams to resolve payment issues

Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor records

Provide support for special projects and initiatives as needed

Qualifications:

2+ years of experience in accounts payable, preferably in the healthcare or hospital industry

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred but not required

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (Lawson a plus)

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Pay Details:
$24.00 to $27.00 per hour
