    Contract/Temporary Sales Planner, Spotify Ad Sales

    At Spotify, we're focused on providing the right music for every moment. We've connected millions of people to their favorite songs and created a service that people use to discover and share music they love.

    We are looking for an outstanding Sales Planner that will join our Ad Sales team. You will be responsible for assisting the full sales cycle from pre-sales through campaign execution. You must be professional, organized and motivated as well as have the drive to succeed in a start-up environment. You will be a reliable support resource who can anticipate client and sales team needs. This role includes analysis, planning, research, project management and brainstorming. Above all, your work will impact the way the world experiences music.

    What you'll do

    • Review RFP proposals and prepare sales proposals
    • Assess accurate industry forecasts and data and analyze research requests
    • Verify inventory availability throughout the sales process
    • Create internal orders and insertion orders and adhere to defined business processes
    • Communicate ad specifications and creative lead times to advertisers/agencies
    • Work with Traffic team to monitor campaigns and ensure campaign delivery
    • Manage campaign performance and make optimization recommendations
    • Work with the ad operations team to provide clients/sales team with any necessary campaign reporting, including post-campaign analysis
    • Assist with sales/pitch presentations by preparing key data points, findings and relevant research
    • Interact with Accounting department in regards to client credit and billing requests/issues
    • You will be a passionate advocate and participant for the Spotify Sales program, P.A.C.T
    • Work from our regional sales office

    Who you are

    • You have a Bachelor's degree focused in sales, with at least 1-2 years of experience in digital/radio/mobile/online planning or buying
    • You thrive in a fast-paced, deadline oriented environment
    • You believe in the power of teamwork, and are a team player
    • You are experienced at CRM and Order Management Systems, experience in Salesforce, DFP or DSM is preferred
    • You are a highly organized and focused multi-tasker with strong attention to detail
    • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • You have great presentation skills and excellent dexterity in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint
    • You demonstrate the ability to think creatively, sell strategically, and communicate efficiently internally and externally
    • You have strong analytical and project management skills
