    Job Description

    As a Front Desk Agent, you will:

    • Extend a sincere and warm greeting to each guest, creating a welcoming atmosphere for their stay.
    • Ensure a seamless check-in process, issue room keys, and facilitate a smooth check-out experience.
    • Accurately calculate bills, accept payments, all while maintaining a courteous and professional demeanor.
    • Process payments using various methods such as cash, check, or credit cards.
    • Skillfully address guests' concerns and issues by actively listening with empathy, enhancing their overall experience.
    • Collaborate with other departments when needed to efficiently address service requests or issues, utilizing our work order tracking system.

    Requirements

    • Availability to work overnight shifts.
    • Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
    • Proficiency in computer usage and typing.
    • Capacity to multitask, efficiently attending to front desk duties to meet guest needs.
    • Ability to remain standing for extended periods as a majority of the shift involves standing.
    • Make independent decisions following both personal judgment and company guidelines.
    • Adhere to instructions without direct supervision.
    • Occasional handling and lifting of objects weighing up to 15 pounds.
    • Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
    • Westgate Resorts maintains a smoke and tobacco-free workplace. Individuals who use tobacco products will not be considered for positions at Westgate unless prohibited by law.
    • Pass a background check, drug screening, and validate eligibility to work in the United States.
