    JOB SUMMARY:
    The District Sales Manager (DSM) plays a crucial role in overseeing the sales performance of Sales Consultants (SCs) and driving a culture of excellence within the team. The main focus is on coaching and developing the sales consultants to achieve planned case and GP growth effectively.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Manage and develop Sales Consultants (SCs) within the district.
    • Provide personalized coaching through regular one-on-one sessions with SCs.
    • Lead informative district meetings to inspire and drive key behavior changes for improved sales results.
    • Enhance Customer Engagement by empowering SCs to offer expanded service options to Sysco customers.
    • Continuously seek improvements in technology, sales skills, soft skills, and product knowledge.
    • Maximize the use of Sales Support resources to optimize SCs' consultative time.
    • Utilize CRM tools effectively for sales planning and customer engagement.
    • Drive Sysco brand results and manage conversion opportunities in the district.
    • Promote national campaigns and initiatives.
    • Offer coaching, training, and feedback to enhance consultative selling skills among sales associates.
    • Implement processes to monitor and enhance the performance of sales colleagues.
    • Manage territory planning and prioritize relationships with key customers and prospects.
    • Implement company strategies within the district and support initiatives.
    • Handle additional sales management responsibilities and ensure strong customer relationships.
    QUALIFICATIONS:
    • Education: High School diploma required. Bachelor's degree in business administration or relevant field preferred.
    • Experience: 2+ years of successful sales growth in the foodservice industry. 5+ years of foodservice sales experience preferred.
    • Professional Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, adept at collaborating with various stakeholders. Strong organizational and project management abilities. Experience in consultative selling, marketing, and coaching. Proficient in analyzing market trends and driving sales growth.
