    Georgia-Pacific is searching for a Growth Sales Representative to join our team in the Northeast region, mainly supporting our box facility in Bradford, PA, as well as our sister facilities throughout the GP Corrugated organization. This role focuses on driving sustainable and profitable sales growth in the industrial and manufacturing corrugated market by emphasizing new business development, customer service, value creation, and market awareness. The Growth Sales Representative will directly report to the Area Sales Manager.

    Candidate Location: We prefer candidates located within a reasonable distance to Bradford, ideally between Buffalo, NY, Rochester NY, and Williamsport, PA. The position involves up to 50% field travel visiting prospects, customers, and GP plant facilities for collaborative purposes. This is a remote role.

    Compensation: The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $90,000 - $125,000. In addition to the base salary, there is potential for variable pay in the form of bonuses or other incentives. Initially, this is a transitional role with a guaranteed base salary plus variable pay, transitioning to an uncapped full commission structure where high performance is rewarded.     Responsibilities:

    • Manage your territory with an entrepreneurial mindset to grow the sales pipeline
    • Pursue new business opportunities through various channels like cold calls, networking, and marketing leads
    • Build and maintain strong customer relationships via professional sales interactions
    • Analyze customer needs, market trends, pricing models, and production data
    • Handle customer projects proactively, ensuring their requirements are met and driving product development initiatives
    • Collaborate with internal and external teams such as Marketing, Technical, and Manufacturing groups
    • Establish contacts at different levels within client organizations
    • Negotiate deals confidently and professionally, focusing on closing them effectively
    • Achieve and surpass monthly sales quotas and revenue targets
    • Effectively use Microsoft Office and CRM tools for sales management
    • Record and monitor sales activities, forecasts, pricing strategies, etc.

    Required Skills:
    • Proven track record of creating new business opportunities
    • Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and closing skills
    • Demonstrates a strong work ethic, self-motivation, and resilience
    • Positive attitude, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for sales
    • Openness to learning new skills and technologies

    Minimum Qualifications:
    • 2-3 years of B2B sales experience
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and closing skills
    • Experience in lead generation and pipeline development
    • Willingness to travel up to 50% within the designated territory, with possible overnight stays

    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Prior experience in business development-oriented sales roles
    • Background in manufacturing
    • Experience in corrugated and/or packaging industries
    • Bachelor's Degree or higher education
