    Staff Accountant


    Location:
    NYC Midtown

    We are seeking a Junior Staff Accountant with a minimum of 2 years of experience in client accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), cash reconciliations, and financial statement preparation including balance sheets and income statements.

    Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software is required. Strong bookkeeping and accounting skills are essential, along with the ability to work independently with meticulous attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are also necessary for this role.

    Responsibilities:


    • Handle client accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
    • Perform cash reconciliations.
    • Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
    • Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks for data management.
    • Work independently to meet deadlines with precision and accuracy.
    • Communicate effectively with clients and team members.

    Qualifications:


    • Bachelors degree in accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
    • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
    • Proficiency in QuickBooks required.
    • Strong bookkeeping and accounting skills.
    • Ability to work independently with attention to detail.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
