    JOB SUMMARY:
    Adams Outdoor Advertising (AOA), one of the largest private Outdoor Advertising companies in the U.S., is looking for an experienced General Sales Manager to oversee Sales Managers and Account Executives.

    The General Sales Manager is responsible for providing sales direction across market clusters, ensuring revenue growth objectives and sales budgets are met through market strategy and personnel development.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF POSITION INCLUDE:
    • Establish advertising sales objectives in line with company goals.
    • Maximize sales resources and market inventory to achieve revenue growth goals.
    • Provide supervision to Sales Managers, manage market inventory, and assign account lists and budgets.
    • Maintain a well-trained and supervised sales staff.
    • Oversee account executives' salaries, expenses, and training.
    • Manage market rate structure and client relationships.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
    • Supervise the Market Creative Services Group if needed.
    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
    • Bachelor's degree in Sales and Marketing or equivalent.
    • Five to seven years of media sales experience.
    • Minimum of five years of sales management experience.
    • Effective communication and motivation skills.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
