    Salary Range: $22 - $25 per hour DOE

    What you'll do?

    We are looking for a meticulous Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our finance team. This role involves accurate processing and reconciliation of incoming payments to ensure the financial well-being and cash flow of our organization. Your efficiency and precision will be pivotal in supporting our financial operations and contributing to our success.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Ensure timely collection of ~500 customer accounts.
    • Follow up consistently with customers on payments and statuses.
    • Thoroughly document customer interactions and notes in the accounting system.
    • Communicate account statuses promptly to Sales and Credit & Collection Manager.
    • Address customer disputes promptly.
    • Conduct account reconciliations as necessary.
    • Provide customers with requested documentation e.g., invoices, credits, PODs.
    • Apply payments to assigned accounts (check, ACH/EFT, credit card).

    What you need to be successful in this role:

    • Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance, or business
    • 3-5 years of experience in AR/Collections
    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Analytical and problem-solving mindset
    • Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies independently or collaboratively
    • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills in a digital environment
    • Proficiency in Excel is essential
    • Prior experience with JDE / SAP is preferred
    • Familiarity with Salesforce is a plus

    Physical Requirements:

    • Standing, Walking
    • Manual dexterity
    • Ability to Lift up to 50lbs occasionally
