Accounts Receivable Specialist - Pomona, United States - Kittrich Corporation

Description

• Collecting payment of past due accounts, notifying customer for issues on a timely manner
• Researching deductions, discrepancies, allowances and working closely with Customer Service and Sales Representative/Salesperson to ensure timely resolution.
• Check A/R Aging, monitor and dispute all charge backs and short pays timely
• Reconciling all assigned accounts, ensure payments are received timely and applied accordingly & accurately
• Prepare credit memo request for approved allowances & chargebacks
• Monitoring Customer Portals for payments and chargeback information
• Work with A/R Manager in identifying issues on each account and manage the associated accounts receivable in accordance with company guidelines.
• Performs other duties as needed
• Strong ability to collect receivables over the phone

• At least 2 years credit/ AR collection experience.
• Proficient with Excel, Word, and JDE experience is a plus.
• Must have ability to adhere and promote policies and procedures.
• Excellent organization, timemanagement skills.
• Advanced written, verbal, communication skills.
• Flexibility to perform multiple tasks with competing priorities.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Ability to exercise discretion and diplomacy.
• Self motivated and takes initiative.
• Customer Portals experience is a plus.
