Job Summary
The Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for performing a variety of accounting and other bookkeeping duties in the accounts receivable area according to established policies and procedures.

Essential Responsibilities
- Utilizes computerized accounting software programs to perform duties and responsibilities.
- Generates accounting statements and reports.
- Research cash receipts, coding and posting of receipts.
- Administers member and group receivables accounts, other accounts receivables and payment reversals.
- May produce a variety of spreadsheets and other reports as required.
- Assists in supporting member and group inquiries and claims payment questions and issues.
- Organizes and maintains up to date financial records.
- Assists in financial management and analysis, as requested.
- Organizes and maintains retention files for required periods of time.
- Supports the CFO and Accounting Manager with special projects and workflow process improvements.
- Addresses and resolves moderately complex accounting and A/R issues and problems.
- Establishes and/or supports company and departmental goals and objectives; makes decisions based upon best approach/practices to meet those goals, objectives and performance requirements.
- Effectively maintaining a variety of required and necessary A/R accounting tasks and duties in a timely and accurate manner.
- Effectively working with other Company team members across the enterprise to accomplish projects and meet performance goals.
- Maintaining and ensuring compliance with HIPAA and other Company proprietary information.
- Ability to work under general supervision and make critical decisions.
- Strong knowledge of A/R accounting processes and procedures in a dental plan member/provider network environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, and strong analytical and problemsolving techniques.
- Performs any and all additional duties as required for this position.

Experience
- Minimum of 24 years of related experience
- High School Diploma with additional training/education in accounting/finance

$ $31.00 per hour
