Position Description:
Required Skills and Responsibilities:
- Lead the shipping / receiving team members in uniform practices across business.
- Ensure all documents are retained in electronic files for all receipts.
- Works with the Government Property Team to capture required documents for US Gov Records
- Works with the Quality team to capture required supplier documents for record retention
- Assist with company fleet assets (rolling assets) as requested by manager.
- Serves as main point of contact for Ground and Air Hazmat outbound shipments and packaging processes.
- Works with company ITEM Master lead to capture ITAR information on the Navision system.
- Affixes shipping labels on packed cartons or stencils identifying shipping information on cartons, using stenciling equipment. Marking per commercial and US Gov standards
- Generates all shipping documents and maintains all records of bill of ladings, invoices, purchase orders receipts, and other records as required.
- Posts incoming receipts and files on Navision system timely.
- Scan documents per procedures in to archive files.
- Organized and neat records ready for audit at all times.
- Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.
- Schedules and coordinates pickups of all sizes of goods and prepares them to ship.
- Skilled in packing items for safe shipment per commercial standards and Mil-STD as requested
- Use a forklift or other MHE to move products on and off trucks and/or loading docks while following all required company safety standards, policies, and procedures.
- Assist in the writing and/or developing of work procedures.
Required Qualifications:
- Able to use safely and efficiently all MHE (material handling equipment) including forklifts.
- Must be certified to operate a forklift and serve as a Training Certifier for Forklift Operators.
- Must obtain and maintain Hazmat training and certification credentials.
- Must attend training and be certified within a reasonable time to ship special commodity items like Lithium batteries and hazmat.
- Understanding handling requirements of all incoming material, including electronic components, metal fabrication, printed circuit boards, hardware, and indirect material.
- Maintains close security of the company's assets until turned over or issued.
- Assess goods received for initial damage and make appropriate notes on BOL to protect company rights. File claims as agreed with manager with appropriate carriers.
- Works with Procurement team on incoming supplier issues (MRB).
- Interacts and communicates with internal departments on all receiving and shipping issues affecting production, engineering, and research & development.
- Able to multitask, work under regular daily pressures, and meet deadlines.
- Performs all other related duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Associates degree (A.A.) from a twoyear college or technical school preferred
- A minimum of 5 to 8 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer Skills:
MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Internet software and Navision (extra).
Clearance Level Required:
US Person is Required. No security clearance required at this time.
