Quality Assurance Engineers (Data Storage/Recovery System)

Location:

Holmdel, NJStatus: Permanent, Full TimeCompensation: $90,000 to $125,000 depending on skills and experienceOur client is an exciting software company that is growing quickly and hiring lots We're searching for experienced Quality Assurance Engineers.

The ideal candidates will come with a background in data storage or backup applications and have the ability to perform QA on Linux software systems.

Responsibilities:
Participate in the testing of software, in an Agile/Scrum environmentParticipate in the analysis of requirements and user storiesCreate/execute test plans for backup/recovery applicationsPerform Database and Compatibility testingRequired / desired skills and experience:BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent working experienceExpertise Data Backup Application such as the following or similar:Dell AvamarPPDMNetworkerVeritas NetBackupIBM SpectrumCommvault5+ years experience working with Backup/ Data/File Storage technology5+ years experience working with LinuxStrong skills with Bash/Shell scripting or SSH Command line operationDatabase experience (structure, creation, backups, encryption, additional features)
