Overview:
Responsibilities:
- Research funding opportunities and summarize details for clients.
- Conduct outreach to Client Managers and clients on opportunities.
- Run meetings with internal and external clients and program contacts.
- Responsible for the quality control/quality assurance process for assigned grant writing projects.
- Regular contact with clients, consultants, governmental agencies, involved communities and contractors in connection with the projects.
Qualifications:
- 05 years of experience in similar position or field.
- Grant writing experience in the civil engineering field is preferred.
Experience with the following funding programs is preferred:
FHWA, FEMA, HUD CDBG, EPA Brownfields, USDA, and EPA Clean Water and Drinking Water State Revolving Funds.
- Bachelor's degree or background in Planning, Engineering, English, Political Science, Communications, or similar.
- Excellent writing and research skills.
- Excellent, proactive communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Ability to take ownership of, and responsibility for, work product and manage own time and workload.
