    Description
    Position: Quality Assurance Engineers (Data Storage/Recovery System)

    Location: Holmdel, NJ

    Status: Permanent, Full Time

    Compensation: $90,000 to $125,000 depending on skills and experience

    Our client is an exciting software company that is growing quickly and hiring lots We're searching for experienced Quality Assurance Engineers. The ideal candidates will come with a background in data storage or backup applications and have the ability to perform QA on Linux software systems.

    Responsibilities:
    • Participate in the testing of software, in an Agile/Scrum environment
    • Participate in the analysis of requirements and user stories
    • Create/execute test plans for backup/recovery applications
    • Perform Database and Compatibility testing
    Required / desired skills and experience:
    • BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent working experience
    • Expertise Data Backup Application such as the following or similar:
    • Dell Avamar
    • PPDM
    • Networker
    • Veritas NetBackup
    • IBM Spectrum
    • Commvault
    • 5+ years experience working with Backup/ Data/File Storage technology
    • 5+ years experience working with Linux
    • Strong skills with Bash/Shell scripting or SSH Command line operation
    • Database experience (structure, creation, backups, encryption, additional features)
    Preferred/Bonus Skills:
    • Windows OS
    • Python
    • C / C++
