    Founded in 2023 in Miami, FL, Base is a tech-powered membership club revolutionizing how our members think about their social lives. As our membership has grown, we are seeking a passionate, creative, and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Events Manager. This role can be full or part-time, depending on candidate availability.

    You will play a key role in organizing and executing our expanding calendar of unique and memorable events, ensuring that our members have memorable and connected experiences.

    Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with the Base team to conceptualize, plan, and coordinate a diverse range of events that align with the needs and interests of our member community.
    • Manage vendor relations and event logistics, including event setup checklists for venue setup, equipment rental, catering arrangements, et al. to ensure smooth and successful event execution.
    • Update event budgets, track expenses, and negotiate with vendors and partners to ensure cost-effective execution.
    • Create event description and any necessary signage, collateral, and branded material.
    • Communicate effectively with event stakeholders, including Base members, external partners, sponsors, et al.
    • Oversee event support contractors, greeters, et al.
    • As needed, provide on-site support during events, overseeing event setup, registration, and attendee assistance, to ensure a positive and memorable experience for all participants.
    • Leverage member feedback to continuously improve the quality of our events and the caliber of partner relations.

    Qualifications:

    • 5+ years experience in event planning, coordination, or management, preferably in a similar role or within hospitality, membership communities/clubs, event companies, or the co-working industry.
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a customer-centric approach and the capacity to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
    • Proficiency in event management software, project management tools, and productivity software (for instance, Microsoft Office, Google Suite) to streamline event planning processes and workflows.
    • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed, based on event schedules and requirements.
    • A passion for creating engaging and memorable event experiences, coupled with a proactive attitude and a willingness to take initiative in driving event success.
    • Preferred: A degree or certification in event management or a related field, though not mandatory. Relevant work experience and demonstrated skills will also be considered.
