    **Summary**

    This role is focused on billing and proof of delivery responsible for completing carrier transactions, working with transportation providers, collaborating with others internally, supporting peers, and developing themselves to meet the overall objective of providing targeted service levels (e.g. timely billing) to our clients by working with the warehouses and carriers to perform timely, accurate transactions.

    **Critical Activities:**

    Adheres to the processes for receiving jobs and picking (e.g. policies, procedures, and work instruction)

    Suggests changes to the warehouse management system (WMS) technology configuration customizations, and data (e.g. Epicor, WarehouseMaster, Microsoft AX)

    Works with the 3PL network utilizing technology and building relationships

    Performs work with a sense of urgency and attention to detail

    Adheres to the processes for customers, 199-direct and transfer shipping (e.g. policies, procedures, and work instructions)

    Suggests changes to the transportation management system (TMS) technology configuration, customizations and data (e.g. Epicor, Echo, Cass, Microsoft AX)

    Achieves on-time delivery (OTD) targets by meeting agreed upon service levels

    Adheres to the process for the timely and accurate freight payment processing

    Formulates improvement ideas and/or suggestions through team project management

    Strive for professional interactions with internal and external suppliers & customers

    Provides backup to other Logistics team members

    Utilizes M. Holland University (MHU) content to demonstrates commitment to continuous learning by building skills, earning credentials and increasing responsibilities

    **Knowledge & Skills:**

    Basic understanding of distribution business, the order-to-cash process and/or the procure-to-pay process

    Ability to thrive in a constantly changing fast paced environment and consistently meet tight timelines

    Strong computer knowledge base with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and experience with ERP and/or logistics systems

    Strong interpersonal skills, requires regular interaction between various departments and outside vendors

    Ability to improve processes and problem solve; define, measure, analyze, improve and control
