    Job Title: Procurement and Logistics Coordinator, Salaried + Bonus

    Hours: Full-time

    Location: Northbrook, Illinois, On-Site

    NO PLUMBING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

    The Role:

    In this role, you need to be detail-oriented and proactive and you will be responsible for managing procurement processes, overseeing inventory management, and coordinating logistics operations, including fleet management. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen eye for detail.

    Responsibilities:

    NO PLUMBING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

    Job related activitiesL

    • Conduct purchase approvals and recording over the phone for transactions involving Divvy, HomeDepot, Ferguson, etc.
    • Coordinate the ordering process for "special order" materials, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
    • Perform audits on materials used in jobs from the previous day to maintain inventory accuracy and compliance

    Warehouse:

    • Support inventory cycle counts in collaboration with the Warehouse Manager, ensuring inventory accuracy and timely reconciliation

    Vehicle Fleet:

    • Oversee truck fleet operations, including truck templates and assignment in ST, scheduling for audits, and coordinating routine maintenance and repairs
    • Coordinate with truck drivers to replenish materials and conducting regular stock counts to ensure inventory accuracy, preferably 8-10 AM
    • Manage GPS tracking systems for fleet vehicles to oversee location tracking in relation to purchases and identify any instances of improper use

    Tools & Equipment:

    • Manage tools and equipment inventory, including locating, tracking, and coordinating maintenance and repairs as needed

    Administrative:

    • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to streamline procurement processes, optimize inventory levels, and ensure timely delivery of materials and supplies
    • Maintain accurate records of procurement, inventory, and fleet management activities, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
    • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including suppliers, vendors, warehouse staff, and truck drivers, to resolve any issues or concerns promptly

    Requirements:

    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
