Logistics Coordinator & Delivery/Pickup Driver
The Logistics Coordinator & Delivery/Pickup Driver is a key role on our Customer Service team.

This position's principal responsibility will be ensuring material planning accuracy, inventory control, pickup and deliveries as needed, shipping our goods to external customers, and receiving in parts from our suppliers.

Working closely with the purchasing department the coordinator will be accountable for supply continuity and accuracy to effectively meet both customers' needs and our internal supply chain metrics.

Success in the role includes a positive, proactive approach to daily work along with strong communication and organizational skills.


Duties to include:

• Cycle counting program setup/maintenance.
• Communicates with other departments as needed, specifically purchasing, repairs, and outside sales.
• Able to execute well with limited instruction/supervision.
• Detail oriented; communicates well with others.
• Strong documentation practice.
• Flexible and able to adapt to change; patient.
• Functions well in a collaborative environment.
• Receive all incoming and outgoing shipments from UPS / FedEx / Speedee / LTL etc on a daily basis.
• Package items in preparation for shipment, and assemble all necessary paperwork.
• Inspect parts for quality issues.
• Put away items for stock or give to designated person for repair or other assignment.
• Ship any parts orders that do not require additional assembly using UPS worldship or Fedex and P2
• Provide excellent customer service to all customers and coworkers.
• Handle emergency shipping for rush orders
• Drive personal vehicle to deliver and pickup products.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• Two or more years' experience working in a warehouse.
• Valid drivers license/insurable for pickups and deliveries.
• Be fully responsible for all shipping, receiving and inventory duties.
• Must have forklift experience/certification.
• Must be able to work independently and keep up in a fastpaced environment.
• Having the ability to multitask is critical.
• Need to be a selfstarter and team player.
• Must be able to handle emergency situations and work through stressful situations.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
• Excellent communication skills required.
• Prophet 21 (P21) experience preferred
• ERP/Distribution transaction experience dealing with Bin control & assignments.
• Material allocation/deallocation familiarity.
• Experience with Shipping and Receiving processes.
• 12 years of production/manufacturing experience preferred
• Experience with inventory management systems & tools.
