Job Summary

As our Assistant Logistics Coordinator, you'll be a pivotal part of our logistics team, supporting the efficient and effective delivery of our products to customers.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys diving into logistics details, coordinating with carriers, and ensuring our shipping processes run smoothly from start to finish.


Responsibilities

Shipping Coordination Support: Assist in coordinating with carriers such as UPS, FedEx, and others to ensure timely product deliveries.

Shipment Tracking Assistant: Aid in tracking and monitoring shipments, providing updates to stakeholders and addressing any delays promptly.

Customs Documentation Support: Assist in managing and organizing customs documents to ensure compliance with international shipping regulations.

Freight Claim Assistance: Support the team in managing freight claims, working closely with carriers and internal teams for resolution.

Invoice Review Support: Assist in reviewing and reconciling freight invoices to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.

Estimation Assistance: Support in providing accurate freight and dimension estimates to aid sales and planning teams.

Process Improvement Assistance: Contribute ideas for improving shipping processes to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Collaborative Team Member: Work closely with our warehouse, sales, and customer service teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment.

Education and Experience

  • High School diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field is a plus.
  • Previous experience in logistics coordination, shipping, or a related role is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (Enterprise Resource Planning) is advantageous.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and move packages up to 50 pounds is required.
  • Comfortable working in both office and warehouse settings.

Working Conditions

  • This role primarily operates within an office environment but may involve occasional visits to warehouses or shipping facilities.
  • Regular collaboration with warehouse staff, carriers, and customers.
